Betalghat is a community and tehsil in Nainital district, Uttarakhand, India. Starting in 2011, it had a complete population of 21265 spread more than 4357 households.The vast majority of the town communicated in Hindi and Kumaoni. There is a riverside region in Betalghat along the Kosi River, a post office, and a marketplace. The nearest rail station is Ramnagar ( 65 km) and Kathgodam (70 km).


Transport



The Betalghat connect, which associates Betalghat with Garampani, was made in 1990. Betalghat Taxi stand is at the corner side of this extension. There is a scaffold on the Kosi River with a length of around 200 meters which interfaces Betalghat and Malli Seti, and further down this street associated with Ramnagar. All around carried transport and taxi administrations are accessible for Ramnagar, Haldwani, Nainital, Ranikhet, Betalghat, Bhatrojkhan and Garampani-Khairna.

Betalghat is famous for Nakuwa Bubu temple which is the main attraction of this small town and visitors who come here to visit they must go there. This is situated on a rock and this gives a perfect view of the whole town. Nakuwa bubu is a gan of Mahadev and there is a temple which is dedicated to lord Shiva. Betalghat is connected with Corbett National park so people visit here to explore wildlife beauty and enjoy fun near Kosi. This area is well known for bird watching as well.


Amel Devi Ma temple- this temple is situated at Amel village and surrounded by beautiful fields which are evergreen on the bank of Kosi this temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga and people who believe in Hinduism must come here.



Amel ki hawa- this falls on the road of betalghat to amel this place known for nature walk and perfect view of Kosi and it's near village.


Aambadi- aambadi is just 3 km away from Betalghat on Garampani road this is near Kosi and famous for mangoes because of its mangoes it is known as Aambadi (field of Mangoes).



Pali- this is a great place to explore nature this village is 4 km away from Betalghat on Nainital road ( shortcut road) after this cascade falls which is known as Kilmorichida and it is around 4 km from Pali.



Simlakha- this village is 10 km away from Betalghat on Almora Khirna road this village is famous for its beauty and Tea.


Sethi ki pool- this bridge is on Kosi and takes 10 mintus on keep from Betalghat it's situated near Amel and connects Amel to Sethi this is the second longest bridge in Uttarakhand.
