Haridwar propitiously located at the place where the  Ganga emerges from the Himalaya, Haridwar (gateway Of God) is Uttarakhand’s one of the holiest Hindu city, and people who believe in creed arrive here in droves to bathe in the fast-flowing Ganga. People gather around Har Ki Pairi Ghat this gives a chaotic but reverent feel.
If we talk about religious faith so Haridwar is most significant town which falls at the bank of Ganga River. Haridwar is especially busy while Dhar Dhams Yatra in Yatra season from may to October and specially in the month of Savan when thousands of Shiva Bhakt, known as Kanwarias descend upon the city.

Gangadwara (Har Ki Pauri), Kushwart (Ghat), Kankhal, Bilwa Tirtha (Mansa Devi Temple) and Neel Parvat (Chandi Devi).

Haridwar is famous for many reasons and most significant reason is that this is one of the four places where Mahakumbh Mela celebrated after every twelve years and Ardh Kumbh occurs after six years.
Haridwar has not only remained the abode of the weary in body, mind and spirit, but also served as a centre of attraction for learning the arts, science culture and Yoga. Haridwar is well known around the world for its long standing position as a great source for Ayurvedic medicines and herbal remedies as well as its unique Gurukul school system of traditional education. Haridwar offers wildlife destination Rajaji National Park is only 10 km away from main Market. Rajaji park is an ideal destination for adventure and wildlife lovers.
In the evening, the Ghats look breathtakingly beautiful as thousands of Diyas (lamps) and marigold flowers float and illuminate the holy River.

Haridwar is not only. Famous for Dharma nagri but it is world famous of Roorkee IIT which gives hundreds of scientists per year to our India and World as well.

Haridwar is easily accessible as it is connected with all major Indian cities by road and rail.

Jolly Grant at Dehradun, 70 km away, is the nearest airport. Taxis, private cars, state road transport buses are available from the airport to reach Haridwar.

BY TRAIN

Haridwar is well connected by trains to almost all major cities in India. In fact, most tourists come to Haridwar by train.

BY ROAD

Well constructed roads connect all the major cities and towns to Haridwar. So driving to Haridwar will be a smooth ride. One can easily get a bus to and from Haridwar from the bus station located nearby.
